The Me 262 and Mosquito are both owned by the Military Aircraft Museum and are seen in formation near their home base back in May. These two aircraft feature in the latest Flypast magazine and are my two favourite aircraft from WW2, both designs were ahead of their time and to fly with them both was amazing, and it is difficult to know if these two types flew together as friends but they are now. Thanks to everyone who made the flight possible.

Latest Cover: Here is the picture on the cover of the Warbirds Over Wanaka 2014 book, a bunch of these arrived a few days ago. Nice to see the Anson on the cover. I had the cover on this book back in 2012 but didn't know exactly which image... was being used on the cover and the shot that was to be used ended up on a magazine cover just before the book was about to be printed so it had to be changed. Gave myself a good talking to afterwards and lesson learnt.

For those who would like to see Mosquito KA114 fly at an airshow head to the Military Aviation Museum at Virginia Beach USA over the weekend of 17-18 May 2014. I went to this show last year and really enjoyed it, a first class facility with so much to see. You can find out more at the link below.
